How Visual Matching Works

  1. Select a collection to process
  2. The system generates visual fingerprints for all images
  3. Images are compared based on visual similarity (colors, patterns, structure)
  4. Matches are ranked by confidence: High (>85%), Medium (70-85%), Low (<70%)
  5. Review and approve matches to link full-size images to artworks

Note: This system matches images based on visual content, not filenames. Processing time depends on the number of images in the collection.
